Are you looking for a rental property on the Sunshine Coast to spend time relaxing with family or friends? Look no further than the fabulous Orca View House. You will never tire of the views afforded by the cliff side location with panoramic SW vistas of Texada & Nelson Islands and north towards the Agamemnon Channel. Enjoy jaw dropping sunrise and sunsets, watch for orcas, humpbacks and eagles. Enjoy the marine traffic sailing by - there is never a moment the views will not inspire.
The home includes 3,000 sq ft, with 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and features stunning vaulted ceilings in the living room with a grand fireplace to get cozy, a large spacious fully equipped kitchen, a large dinning room with space for the whole family to gather. The luxurious ground floor master has a king size bed, WFH space and ocean views. The second bedroom is also ground floor and includes a private lock-off door and its own private bathroom with shower. Third bedroom is upstairs and also has ocean views. There is a den space with sofa bed and large 65 inch TV for movie nights.
There is a private hot tub on the large deck that also enjoys the views. Perfect for relaxing and watching the sunset. The hot tub seats seven.
There is a large washer and dryer for laundry if needed.
If you need to work while at the property, there are three desks (one is a sit-stand) to comfortably work from with a view. The house has gigabit internet so connecting to zoom calls is never an issue.
The home is located close to lakes and ocean. A 2 min drive to Hotel Lake and you can be floating or swimming on a warm day. A gentle walk down to Lee Bay will give you beach and ocean access. There are forests all around for nature lovers and a short hike up the very close Pender Hill will afford you the incredible views over Pender Harbour.
This is not a party house. Loud music or creating a disturbance to the community is not tolerated. Quiet time is from 10pm-8am. Thank you.

Summary: We had a lovely stay and hosts very helpful and welcoming. No issues and would 100% recommend. Views and hot tub made it a very special place to stay.

Summary: We had a great time at Nikie’s house. It’s a really nice property, spacious and well equipped, with a stunning view. There are a few trails within walking distance but most everything else of interest requires at least a short drive.

Summary: The host is very thoughtful about the experience of the guests. Location is great with a short walk to Daniel Pt to visit the ocean front. Multiple lakes nearby if you want to experience freshwater as well. House is well equipped with everything we needed, little things like a coffee grinder and a cheese grater make the difference. As noted in a previous review the house is west facing with lots of windows so it does heat up - we were there in a 30+ degree heatwave. However, there were lots of fans and blinds on most windows. At Nikie’s suggestion the hot tub temp was turned down prior to our arrival so it made for a refreshing dip.

Summary: Our three-week sojourn at Orca View was wonderful and just melted by. We have returned home relaxed (once we got the hang of the windy Shinecoast Highway) and refreshed. The house and view met all our expectations. Nicki was a very solicitous host: we appreciated her periodic text messages to make sure we and everything were fine and inviting us to pick and enjoy her tomatoes, basil and kale.

Summary: The property and view were gorgeous! Very well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. We did have a few uncomfortable nights as the temperatures were close to 90* F with afternoon sun coming in. Upstairs was extremely hot and my boys had to sleep downstairs. I spoke with the owner who was very receptive to buying a few more fans.
